"The Fascinettes" were established in 2016, and started out as a Motown and Soul Tribute act. Across the years, they have diversified to included many different styles and genres, including 1920s postmodern jukebox covers, to Northern Soul, Modern Soul, Pop, Disco and more!
Vanessa Knight, who fronts the line up, has an extensive and impressive live performance CV and has travelled all over the world as a soloist. Together, the girls have performed all across the UK, from Scotland to Cambridge, and now offer two main shows, their Motown Tribute, and new for 2027 their Divas of Song show! TINA COLES
Tina has always had the ability to captivate an audience - whether it be acting in school plays and musicals, singing in the local church choir or performing a variety of popular dance styles. Motown and Northern Soul provided the musical backdrop to her formative years and this has had an obvious influence in shaping her range and tastes. After making numerous appearances for local groups as special guest vocalist, Tina has more recently found her love for dance again by taking up contemporary and classical ballet. Tina’s real passion though, is, and always will be, singing. So, it seems only fitting that she gets to join her friends on stage performing her love of Motown chartbusters for audiences to appreciate and enjoy.
VANESSA KNIGHT
Fresh from her success on BBC One's The Voice UK in 2015, Vanessa formed the band, after always having had a huge passion for music, especially soul. Vanessa began singing publicly at the age of 7; as a young adult she went on to study Performing Arts and Musical Theatre, and has since worked all over the world performing as a vocalist, including; Fronting various bands over the years, including Norfolk's very own Northern Soul band "The Soft Tone Needles", taking part as a contestant in The Voice UK 2015 on team Rita and performing as frequent guest vocalist in Wild Boys 80s Band all over the world, including working with Royal Caribbean cruise ships, and some major UK events too. Residing in Norfolk, Vanessa also runs a toddler dance group and highly successful childrens entertainment company The Magic of a Princess. She is Mum to two boys.
KYLIE ABLETT
Ever since a young age, Kylie began learning classical ballet, and her love and passion for dance has shone through. Kylie’s second home has always been the stage and she has frequently appeared in musical productions and dance performances. However, it wasn’t until she was 13 that Kylie realised her true potential behind a microphone, adding yet another string to her bow. From the school choir, to singing with the Salvation Army brass band, Kylie has now settled into the genre best suited to her voice. An out-going and confident personality, her style is heavily influenced by the greats of the 60s soul era, so it’s no surprise that Kylie’s voice is well-suited to music of The Fascinettes.
