A little about me...
Vanessa has been singing since the age of 7! Ever since she could talk, music has just come out of her, and growing up, she had her fair share of public performances, including singing in the Grafton Shopping Centre in Cambridge to approx 1000 people at the tender age of 10!
As Vanessa grew up, she knew all she wanted to do was sing. A very shy child; it took a lot of coaxing to get Vanessa to come out of her shell. She studied Music at school, and went on to achieve a triple Merit in Performing Arts, and Distinction in Musical Theatre at Kings Lynn's College of West Anglia.

Vanessa spend her late teens and early 20's gigging in pubs and clubs with local cover bands, shaping her style and craft. She then moved to Devon, to work as a full time singer and dancer for Park Holidays UK, which she enjoyed doing for two seasons.

Following this, Vanessa has fronted many bands in her singing career, including Northern Soul tribute band The Soft Tone Needles, function party band The Look, and alongside Wild Boys 80s Band and has also formed her own Motown Tribute act The Fascinettes in 2017.

Vanessa has been lucky to have performed all over the UK, Europe and America, at many prestigous events and for many corporate clients, including Vodafone, Hilton Hotels, SIA (spinal injuries association), KLFM, Mars Foods, Jaeger and Royal Caribbean, to name a few.

In 2015, Vanessa's career took a real turn, when she appeared on (then BBC One's) The Voice UK. Vanessa was coached by Rita Ora, after gaining 3 chair turns, from Tom Jones, Ricky Wilson and of course Rita. She had great banter on the show, and made it to the Battle rounds, where she unfortunately left the competition. She is still in touch with many of her fellow contestants and really enjoyed the experience.
This really launched Vanessa's profile and social media profiles, and it was a great experience for her to be on a national television show which was broadcast to 7 million people! You can view her blind audition here!

Vanessa has extensively worked alongside Wild Boys 80s band as a featured guest vocalist, and has enjoyed much success in private and corporate events all over the world, launching the last 3 new ships for Royal Caribbean, including the worlds largest cruise ship Harmony of the Seas, which she launched with them in America in 2016. Vanessa spends a great deal of time with the boys in the band, and loves them all very dearly!
An avid songwriter and musician, Vanessa is very creative and always turning her hand to something new. She recorded and produced the demos for The Fascinettes! Which you can view here!
Vanessa had a short break over the covid pandemic to give birth to her two beautiful children.

In 2022 she was lucky enough to be part of Absolute Radio's "Band of Mum and Dad" Where she travelled to the Absolute Radio HQ and recorded live lounge style recordings of Sex on Fire and Last Christmas. The band has some exciting things lined up for 2023 so watch this space...
